Project: The Nature Photographer by NANPA

Client: North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA)

Goal: Promote monthly podcast during virtual event program and on social media. Target audience is nature photographers at all levels of experience (novice hobbyist to experienced professional).

My role: Culled audio excerpts from published podcasts, wrote script, selected images from existing program library, chose music, and produced video.

Project: NANPA Foundation Photo Blinds Program

Client: NANPA Foundation

Goal: Raise awareness of nature photography blind program among nature photographers, encourage use, and provide information about how to apply for funding. Target audience is nature photographers at all levels of experience (novice hobbyist to experienced professional), public park and nature center administrators, public park and nature center affinity groups.

My role: Wrote script, culled images from organization’s existing media library, chose music, and produced video.

Project: Introduction to NANPA Foundation

Client: NANPA Foundation

Goal: Explain difference between NANPA and NANPA Foundation, summarize Foundation’s accomplishments and programs, and solicit donations during virtual event. Target audience is nature photographers at all levels of experience (novice hobbyist to experienced professional).

My role: Wrote script, culled images from organization’s existing library, chose music, and produced video.

Project: 20 Years and Counting: Writing Workshop

Client: Partnership for Inquiry Learning

Goal: Acquaint funders and potential clients with organization’s programs and outcomes; address common objection that funding for teacher development doesn’t have direct impact on student achievement. Target audience is stakeholders such as charitable foundations with education funding, school administrators, curriculum coaches and teachers in grades preK-8.

My role: Wrote script, culled audio and visual content from organization’s existing media library, and produced video.

Project: Indiana Academic Standards Explained by National Literacy and Math Education Experts (total of 93 videos)

Client: Partnership for Inquiry Learning

Goal: Provide free professional development programs related to English/Language Arts and Math standards to Indiana teachers in grades K-8. Target audience is English/language arts and/or math teachers in grades K-8 as well as school administrators and curriculum coaches.

My role: Created branded slides for video intros/outros, selected music, and provided minor editing support for speaker-submitted material. Also wrote promotional copy for emails and landing page supporting the series.

Project: Writing-Focused Read-Aloud

Client: Partnership for Inquiry Learning

Goal: Provide free professional development content in the teaching of writing for educators working in early childhood and primary grades. Target audience is early childhood educators, early childhood program administrators, and teachers in grades K-1.

My role: Selected excerpts from several hours of recorded footage, distilled teaching points, added branding and text to video, and produced video. Also wrote promotional copy for emails and social media posts supporting the video.
